For the cultivation of these crops close alternating drains.

Close alternating drains then watered open drains. Sow the seeds in the center of bed. Seed distance is 3 feet per seed

Preparing saplings
Prepare sapling in first week of February. Get 1 qnt. Of menthe roots cut them in machine to separate knots. Shatter them in approximate 2 Marla and make beds. Irrigate in darns.

Open all drains and irrigate the field. On the slopes of each bed plant the saplings of menthe. Distance of saplings 9 inches recommended.
